Los Angeles Anti-Bully Society is taking their support in fandom through Press! Traveling to conventions and festivals, our regional chapters are promoting the geeks and horror buffs with a service that can help cultivate a healthy community.
From Photographers to Videographers, we're open for volunteers to join our team. We welcome talents of every experience, and willing to train newcomers into our productions, including:
- Social Media
- Online Magazines
- Print Magazines
- Video Productions
- Online Streaming
Our objective is to connect with the community, representing the Los Angeles Anti-Bully Society. By volunteering with us, you will be required to exercise the following procedures, during assignments:
- Check in procedures
- Exercise empathy to Neurodivergent social anxiety (Read ADHD and Autistic Anxiety - Megan Anna Neff)
- Exercise caution to racial slurs and idioms (Read Mind your metaphors, idioms, and phrases - Naomi Nishi, 2022)
- Exercise gender equality (Read Exploring gender inequality: What is feminism? - by FutureLearn, 2021)
- Always use "They/Them" pronoun on everyone
- Never travel alone, to prevent isolated incidents
- Keep communication open
- Tally expenses for tax deduction forms in contributing your time and service to our nonprofit 501c3 organization
VOLUNTEER NOW: Media Team
As a member of our team, we will send each Photographer and Videographer information of open assignments, with the following benefits:
- A free Press Pass
- Networking opportunities
- Free access to Press team's archive
- Credited in Magazine and Social Media publications
- Credited in Video and Streamed Productions
Once there are more than two members active in one region, a Captain may be voted to lead the chapter.
